Can't believe the season is almost over as it felt like it just started. Oh well, appears to be the week of the heavy favs this week and if anyone has stuck to the +30 theory this year than this week is has a bit to offer. Seriously though, I think the cats will push west coast this weekend in what should be a good game of footy but if the eagles are any chance of playing more than one game come finals then they simply have to get it done this week. Even money and IMO the standout play of the week. Key injuries have hurt them in recent weeks and will wait till game time to look at the two sides playing lists but from first glimpse, this looks to be the softest line of the week.

Hope you're right pumpkin as I like the pies to bounce back after last weeks effort and get it done tomorrow night. What a finals series it is shaping up to be this year!:)

Agreed pawa. Should be pretty tight all night and I think I will also
take the pies inside 39. Shapes up to be a great game! Hawks/Roos game should be a cracker too pawa. Think your boys will bounce back?

Flu-smoo!!!

Flu-smoo!!!

2.60 for Adelaide!!

Has the world gone insane??

Collingwood's record v. top 8 sides this season reads as following:

Lost to Port by 25 (AAMI)
Lost to Brisbane by 14 (Gabba...but kicked last 3 goals to make it closer than it really was)....and 39 (MCG)
Lost to Sydney by 20 (Dome)
Lost to Eagles by 16 (Dome)
Lost to Essendon by 66 (MCG)

Only 2 victories were v. Freo @ MCG and Adelaide by 5.

Although they DID beat the Crows @ AAMI, they had 5 less shots and 6 less inside 50's, and blew a 4 goal lead with 10 minutes to play. Hart was out and he is their best match for Tarrant. (Admittedly Smart out hurts this week too.)

We saw what Brown did to Cloke last week...every chance Carey does the same thing this week. Also Mark Stevens travelled with team so is BIG chance to play. No Presti, hurts Pies bad.

Also see today that Licuria is doubtful!

Crows MASSIVE advantage in the ruck and will get first use all night.

I was quite prepared to play the Crows at 2.00, but 2.60 is just rediculous!

Love the Crows here and will take them at this hugely inflated price!

Other 2 games I like this week are Essendon -30.5 and Doggies +34.5.

Kinda like the Hawks, but it has "too easy" written all over it.

Good luck gang.

Also like your dogs this week cristo getting a stack of points. Adelaide travelling for the second straight week to the other side of the country, health concerns, no Smart or Hart, and a pies side that should be ready to play after last weeks terrible start is enough for me cristo. I agree that adelaide at 2.60 are great odds but taking all these factors in to the equation explains why. Good luck if you decide to play them though mate.:D

You just beat me to it, Pumpkin!!

I think we've entered Comic Book Guy's Bizarro World :scared

(Actually, you'll notice Collingwood come in before their game time most weeks, due mainly to the volume of supporters....But this is insne, rediculous, bizarro, inflated...and any other adjectives I haven't yet used!)

They actually closed back in to 2.30 @ kick-off...May as well have been 12.30 for all I care!

What a 3rd quarter by the Pies....Flu? Subi hangover? or Pies better than I give them credit for?

Anyway, happy they hung on for the under 40 guys ;)

Definately played Doggies....waiting until game time for the weather, (given Ess problems in anything other than perfect conditions!) for the other game.

Collingwood get it done easier than everyone expected tonight and I don't know about you pawa but that inside 39 at $2.45 sure felt good come the final siren. Thought there were too many reasons why the pies would get up and they proved to be correct.
Cristo and pumpkin- I thought you guys were going to have a cardiac arrest the way that adelaide line kept creeping out. Hopefully you both made it through the game alright :D On to tomorrow!

Good thing your boy's won't make the finals, PAWA. I think we can safely say we won't see Mr. Sinclair for at least the next 5 games....more if his jaw is broken.

Still waiting on that dodgy Melbourne weather to play the Bombers.
Rain expected in Brisbane might even things up, but I think the line is just about perfect.
Still think the Doggies are bet of the week....well...besides St. Kilda, but I didn't know that at the time!!!

I like the Bulldogs myself Christo.

I was out tonight but I'm informed that Jess dished out a ripper elbow and will be taking a bit of a holiday!!!! :D

My Kangas are pathetic to once again give up a lead.

I'm having a small nibble on all 3 of todays dogs with the big points on offer. Figure at least 2 of 'em will collect.
I see the Demons came came home last night well within the huge start given.

Overcast here in Melbourne Christo. Looks like it could rain soon, but then again......it always looks like this!!!
