Interesting week of footy coming up as the top 10 sides work themselves out and decide who will play finals footy this year. A couple of crunch games to look forward to. Some good looking dogs possibly in the form of richmond, freo, st. kilda, and even adelaide. Looking forward to seeing some lines.

I think it's an absolute shocker of a round for betting, bomber!!

Have played one game, and I reckon I'll sit out the rest.

Took Adelaide +16.5 today at the TAB.

Geelong are 2-14-1 @ Adelaide since 1992!!...only one of those wins was by more than this.
Adelaide have lost only 2 games in their last 20 @ home by more than 16!!
Also Rd. 6 was the first time Geelong had beaten Crows by more than 11 in their last 11 meetings, going back to '97.
Geelong have lost all 4 inter-state games this year.
Adelaide average 13 more inside 50's at home than their opp!!!

Like them to keep it close. if not sneak the win.

West Coast qualify as a 'strong play' versus Fremantle on Sunday. Think these are around 15-2 for 'home' sides this year (@ work so I don't have the exact numbers with me!). Realising that both these teams are at 'home' this week also but interesting figures non the less. Will keep this in mind for next season though!

I reckon Adelaide 'under 39' has to be some value @ $3+ against a Geelong side that slugged it out in the mud last week. Weary legs perhaps  given the Cats poor 'away' form.

Also think the Bulldogs are getting too many points start against my Kangaroos who must now surely give up on a finals berth!

Agree with you on the Kanga's, PAWA.

I don't think they van give more than 4 goals in this one....But have learn my lesson with the Doggies too many times!!
Croft and Garlick back for their 'farewell' game should inspire the boys....but the game is at the dome afterall, so we're still likely to lose by 40-odd.

Seriously thinking about taking Coll +17.5 (1.80) tonight....Mite just have it for a little interest. Was hoping for some crap weather (it's been belting down here all afternoon) but doesn't look to be any rain about at the G.

Really should just stick to my one play....after all, there are far more profitable sports in the world atm!! ;)
(Thanks for the support too, guys :toast: )

55-34 (+21.13)

Adelaide +16.5 (1.85)

Also putting a unit on Melbourne on the ML (1.45)

It could be closer than the 18.5, but I really don't see Melbourne losing this game.
The ground is no problem, Melbourne have won their last 4 there.
They've won the last 5 head to heads, inc. 105 points earlier in the year...and let's face it, they are a much better team.

Looks like I'll be having the 2 tv's in the lounge room on Sat arvo!! :D

Crows cash for everyone!! WHOO-HOO!! :Yep:

A nibble on Christo's Bulldogs with points tonight for some interest. My Roos tend not to smash teams that they ought too.

Wow, wouldn't have thought that your roos would have went down to the dogs paw. As I stated earlier in the week, it looked like a weekend for the dogs and this has certainly been the trend thus far ftmp. Just wish I had been on more of them. See what sunday brings now.

The hawks do it with their backs against the wall which is more than I can say for last year when i had loaded up on them when they led by 52 points and lost the game. Can't catch a break and the southern and water I drank all night tonight hasn't helped my typing skills too much either! Looking forward to seeing who rounds out the 8 next week!

Yep, southern and WATER christo! It's usually a pretty good indication that things are getting out of control- and they did a little. "C", any thoughts on next week when our 2 respective teams clash at the dome?? No reason why you guys aren't a chance after this weekends effort.

Coasters finish off a good round but the Saints better go back to the drawing board!! :scared
Brisbane's second quarter was the most amazing display I have seen against quality opposition for a long time. I was hoping the Saints would roll them for the second time this year and then I could get good odds on the Lions come Grand Final day. Now I reckon we'll be lucky to get $1.30!!!
