The final week of regular season is apon us and what a blockbuster to kick off the week on friday night between 2 traditional rivals. Both teams in great form makes this one hard to pick. The 2 other derby's over the weekend should also be absolute rippers. Anxiously waiting for lines to come out so we can start sorting through this weeks picks. Pawa and cristo and anyone else with an opinion, who do you guys think gets it done on friday night?

Had a look at the lines and must admit that there are some good looking lines for the weekend. Geelong always seems to close out there season quite well and are playing at home this weekend but taking in to consideration St Kilda's form over the past month or so I see no reason why they won't cover the 9.5 start. Hawthorn and richmond played a memorable (to be it was forgettable as I lost) game earlier in the season when the tigers came back from 52 points down to win by nearly 4 goals. No doubt hawthorn wins this one and should cover the 3 goal start. The other game I kind of like is Brisbane. They are giving up alot of points to the dogs but considering how bad the dogs have been and how keen the lions will be to take some confidence in to the finals I think that an absulute flogging is on the cards. Can't wait for friday night!:D

Would think that the Saints line is safe considering their awsome form of late. The System was very close on Port but what do they have to play for with top spot sewn up?? I'd expect that they will run wide and not get any injuries going into the serious stuff next week.
My Kangas should smack the Blues and I'll be out at that one, as my boy is running through the banner as team mascot!!! I'll be down there shaking hands with Arch, Stevo and Kingy after the win :D

Fxxking WEATHER.....

Fxxking WEATHER.....

....Looks like ruining another solid fav weekend.

Forecast for gale force winds in Melbourne.....Might scare me off the Hawks, Sydney and Saints as favs. In fair weather each of those teams cover easily .

Actually kinda fancy Carlton +30.5.....But would have to be insane to take them really! Definately won't be on Kanga's tho.

Like Essendon tonight, but will steer clear.

Good luck tho, PAWA...and everyone else on the Bombers.

Confident of your roos pawa. Hope for you sake the blues don't end the season on a positive and cause the big upset. Think the hawks cover for sure so will ride them out along with the sainters.
Enjoy the game on the weekend though pawa!:D

Gardiner not expected to play for Eagles.

Actually like Freo to get the job done tonight, but will lay off....toss of a coin job really

Carlton beat the Roos by 9 points earlier in the season.
Franchinna IN for Carlton.
J. Clayton, Sav and Robbins IN...Harding, Sinclair OUT for Roos.

Kanga's haven't won a game by more than 28 points all season...Due directly to their looseness in the middle and shocking defense. Teams have no problems scoring quickly on them.
Fevola could have a whooper!!

Of course loosing the last 9 by av.56 points is bad...but definately value in +30.5 for the Blues.

Will be on both fav's this afternoon if weather not totally attrocious. Wait unitl I see on TV.

Fine but windy @ MCG.

Taken a double Sydney/Brisbane @ 1.47ish.

Can see Sydney winning by 10-20.

Don't care about the conditions in Geelong tho....Surely Saints can cover the -10.5.

Good luck gang.

Good job on your plays yesterday Incentive. Playing the hawks today -19.5 and if the weather is solid is melbourne they should cover this line by half time. Looking forward to what should be a great finals series beginning next week. :)

Thanks bomber, Gl with the hawkers 2day.

Playing Power under 24.5 @ 4.00 x $500

Port will be super keen to knock adelaide out of the 4 to ensure they dont have to play them in the 1st week of the finals and somewhat nullify their top spot home field advantage.

These ones are always close, stakes are high should be a ripper.

Good weekend for the Incentive. Well called mate.
I enjoyed my day out watching my Roos absolutely destroy Pagan's Blues. I was crying with laughter at some of the Carlton play. They seriously have problems!!! Was it a record winning margin?? Not sure. Went down into the rooms afterwards and helped my boy get heaps of autographs on his jumper. A great day out to help erase some of the pain from last two nights!!!!
Finals kick off next week with some BIG games to have a crack at.

Catch ya next week.

Nice work incentive! Hawks cover half way through second term and then fold- one of those weekends:mad: Glad to hear you enjoyed the game pawa and I couldn't think of another team I would rather see absolutely smashed than the old dark navy blues. You're right, they're going to have to come a long way to be competitive next season. On to week one of the finals.

Interested to hear that you think the pies are the play for the upcoming weekend incentive. Lions have the edge most definitely due to last years grand final and the game played 3-4 weeks ago and even with key injuries, I still think they have what it takes to win this one. Lions have to be the play as the pies have won three huge games in a row and are bound to drop one. I think that if the pies win this one that they are a serious contender for the flag but having said that, I don't think they will. Brisbane by 3-4 goals IMO.:D

Hope your right bomber! Just feel that pies wont get jumped like they did a few weeks ago at the G vs Brizzy and brisbanes away record hasnt been flattering, although theyve won their past 6 at the G. Early money around the books already for Collingwood as ive watched them go into 1.68 from Pk already today.

If wakelin is out this will give a distinct advantage to brisbane as they havent really got anyone to stop Brown. I hope they put that dud Jason Cloke on him. He would have to be the most unaccountable hack ive seen for a long time. This has alot to do with Brisbanes recent dominance of the pies, as the Lions have made him accountable.

Anyway, time will tell.

Happy to hear that the system is also pointing in the direction of the lions pawa and we both know that the express is due for a green light! Some points would be great value.

Hopefully the express is right on the money with this one. Wait till later in the week and you should get a nice price for brisbane.

I feel essendon are a chance this week. No idea why, i think theyve lost their last 11 interstate matches or something. Would need about 2.30 + to back them in perth.
