I would have to say that Western Bulldogs Pk will be one of my strongest plays for a long time. Bulldogs arent playing well, but Fremantle on the road are still useless. Its great when freo beat a good side at home, you always get a nice price playing against them the next week.

Dont be fooled, they are 2 completely diff sides home and away.

Opinions??

If it was at the MCG I was agree 1000%......Because it's in the Dome hurts the Doggies, but yeah, Freo still only 1 from last 10 there :D

Kinda like the dogs myself. Have their best winning percentage against opposing teams vs Freo (70%) and although the dogs are struggling they are surely due for a win and this week against a struggling freo side on the road should be it.

Like my dons to get the better of the tigers this week. Fletcher and rioli out but the tigers have more injury worries than they know how to cope with. Had the best part of Richmond in recent times and looking for the trend to continue. Think they are about a four goal better side. Any opinions?

Season to date 7-9 +2u :(

Dropped the last 5 personal plays so I need to redeem myself with a good week.
Playing......
Hawthorn -8.5 versus Kangaroos @ $1.90 1 Unit
My 'joeys' couldn't beat eggs at the moment and have struggled since the drawn Brisbane game. Missing the 'big Sav' up forward as a focal point but expect to go down fighting (unlike last weeks pitiful last quarter effort).

Geelong +35.5 versus West Coast @ $1.90 1 Unit
Geelong have won the last 5 encounters, twice in Subiaco. One of those teams that 'match up' well I guess!! Too many points on offer here to pass up. Five teams this season have been offered 30+ points and four of them have collected. Similar to last years high %. Count me in for this one!!

Brisbane -17.5 versus Sydney @ $1.90 2 Units
Brissy Lions have won the last 6 straight against Sydney, 4 of those in Sydney. Shouldn't take much for them to win by 3 or more goals.

Good luck fellas

Also like collingwood 2nite. I will take the 18 point start at sportsbet. Any forecasts I can find for adelaide indicate rain, not sure if anyone from SA can confirm that.

Feel that Coll is due for a performance after a couple of poor starts, most night games at Footy Park are pretty close.

GL all

Yeah Bomber......Happy that my boys put in and finished off the Hawks (would hate to follow that lot!!!:D ). Surprised me to be honest! Geelong ran the Eagles close and gave me a 1-1 so far. Thats now 5 from 6 teams collecting when offered 30+ points start. Keep it in mind people ;)

Collingwood got up with a goal after the siren to knock over the Crows. Ya gotta love that!!! (sorry Beasty!!:thefinger )

PAWA...

Why would anyone love that!!!!!????? :nono:

Not only did it ruin my tipping (which was looking good after I got the Tiges up this afternoon ;))....Now we have to put up with Collingwood supporters all bloody week! :moon:

One good thing.....Will be plenty short enough v. the Weagles next week

Good luck with your bets tomorrow, lads....Hope to get the Doggies up.....Think Port are good things if the weather holds out, and won't be surprised if the Bris/Syd game is closer than people might think, but Brisbane still pull a win for Ashcroft's 300th.

What an unbelivable match. The atmosphere at the ground was crazy in the last quarter when the crows hit the front by a point, close to the loudest I have ever heard the crowd. Then all the ecstasy turned to agony for all the Crows supporters including myself when Tarrant took the mark just before the siren sounded and then went on to slot the goal. Even now, I can't believe we lost the game.

From a shattered Crows supporter:(

I don't know who's worse Craig.......Crow supporters or Magpie supporters!!! Just happy when either lose :D

Season to date 8 - 11 -0.1u

Sydney inflict Brisbane's first lose for the season. This season isn't much fun at all. Very even level of teams making it hard for all of us.

Easier catching the train me thinks!!! :D

MrC........Your Doggies stink it up bad!!!! Freo out of state.....:nono: no excuse for that

Kretiuk, Croft, Smith, Grant, McMahon, Robbins, Alvey, Birss.

With the exception of Bassett, there is our ENTIRE starting backline out of the team!
Throw in Bandy who went down in the game, and, yep...It will be a LONG and painful season.

As for Freo...Don't worry about this game, or what the Melbourne 'experts' say, they WILL win games in Melbourne this year.
Extremely under-rated team, simply because most people don't know a lot about them. This is not the same Freo team of years gone by ;)

Must admit, very suprising scoreline in the dogs game. Well, we sure have picked alot of winners over the past 2-3 weeks! Must be time for our fortunes to change. Pawa, correct when you say that it is getting harder by the week to pick winners as the competition is very close. Hoping the upcoming weeks can give us some joy!
