Hopefully all of us can turn around last weeks misfortune and fair a little better this week. Don't think west coast is a 37.5 point worse team than the saints and therefore seriously considering this one as a play, along with Brisbane at +7.5 over in the west. By the way, who would have expected this friday nights clash between collingwood and adelaide to have been a near bottom of the ladder contest? Funny how things can change in this sport in the space of a few months.

Hey bomber.

Saints have won the last 2 match-ups at the dome by 50 and 61 points.
They have won 9 straight at the dome....6 of those by more than this!

Brown out (for the moment!) for Brisbane. No Lynch or Brown. Will be tough for Brisbane.

My initial leans would be Adelaide, Melbourne and Hawthorn +

Doesn't look a great week, really.

Not real happy with this week at all.

Any help here guys???

Going a bit of the wall and having a 2 unit double:
Melbourne win, St. Kilda more marks than West Coast @ (2.47)

Have my eye on 2 more bets, but wating until closer to game time.

Still like Hawthorn +23.5. Goodes won't play...Davis out too. Hawthorn great record v. Sydney.
Still...they are still poor, and will struggle to kick 10 goals.

Who knows?

Was also looking at the hawks initially christo getting a nice amount of points and with Goodes out, it looks even more appealing. The thing that scares me is whether they show up to play or not, clearly a problem with them thus far this season. Might be worth a crack though considering the swans aren't exactly lighting it up at the moment either. Just read about brisbane's injury list and with the papers quoting up to 10 lions injuries for the upcoming week, think I will stay away from this one. Should be a good test of their depth this week.
Pawa, could only get a 6am flight for the 2nd of July using my award points and therefore will not be able to make it down for the big game. However, booked a flight for the 22nd of July to come down and see the dons/saints game with one of my mates at home who is a saints supporter. Any interest in making an appearance mate???Let me know as the time draws closer if you're keen.

Richmond are the upset of the round..If they don't win they'll come close anyway. Brisbanes shocking injuries and suspensions will see them get done in Perth but value in Richmond..Never thought i'd ever say that this year...

Back again after great weekend boys, some big plays. You know how the saying goes...'big time players make big time plays'. Feeling super:D 5-0 for the weekend...that's about as good as it gets boys.

Big saturday night after collection:drinky: :weed:

I like Freo and Richmond...I'm ultra confident on a 7-2 record come Saturday night..Lets just say i've got the inside info boys...

Saints will get smashed this weekend, i'm hammering whatever the sportsTab line is. Hawks will beat the cats, take that head to head at 2.15.

HHmmmm. Don't know if it's just me (guess what? It isn't!!)...but this was your last post, Jeff.

Well...the Saints didn't quite get smashed....winning by 23 points....and Hawthorn were damn close too, only going down by the lazy 56.

Look...Good luck in your "inside info", but you might want to ease up on that un-posted win-streak, boy .

umm...........Jeff

Did you take some kind of hallucinogenic substance and then stumble in to this forum instead of the NBA or NFL ones??

We don't spew forth that kind of loud mouth crap in here.

Hope nobody bet on Adelaide tonight. I avoided them last week and again this week because they have yet to string two good games together all year. That was the worst and most frustrating game I've may have ever seen and yet with a minute to go we nearly stole the match. (Would have been nice after Collingwood did that to us last year)

Plays to come later

Yep, no point posting BS on this forum in regards to betting records Jeff. We respect honesty in this thread mate so try and keep it this way. Pawa, finishing up at uni mate so the income isn't exactly happening at the moment. Will check flight prices when I get back to the mother country on the 2nd of June and see what I can arrange. Would love to be down there for it, trust me! At the least though, a definite starter for the saints/dons game later in July so I'm sure we can manage something.
On that note, I saw the replay of the dons/crows game over here last night and was extremely impressed with the opening quarter of the dons. Haven't seen them run through the lines and play that confidently hard at the footy since the 00' season. Hoping they can keep it going throughout the season. On to todays games.

Fremantle v. Brissy UNDER 179.5 (2.40) (sportodds)

Two good defenses here...plus with Lynch and Brown out, Lions might struggle to score.

Fast Times OUT of Madjack High

Fast Times OUT of Madjack High

As Mr. Hand said to Jeff Spicoli, "your wasting our time"!

In very poor taste to stir things up the A.F.L. thread, which I don't remember ever being a problem.

Some good back and forth, point-counterpoint and all in fun good ribbing!

If MadJack's principal should view Mr. Spicoli's threads it will be permanent detention!

I will chime in with Melbourne @ -155, Geelong +13.5 @ -107 and Port Adelaide @ -200 at Pinnacle. All wagers to make 1 unit.

Have a profitable weekend!

Frawley must have read my thread a couple of weeks back when I labelled the tigers my candidate for wooden spooners. Took port last year in this game at AAMI and lost so not going to make the same mistake this year. Richmond are tempting considering bost sides form of late. Anyway, taking my dons to dispose of the cats for 1 unit tonight as I was extremely impressed with their form last week for the most part. Solid record against them in recent years also.:D

So far this year I have at times labelled both Geelong and Richmond as the worst teams in the league and at this moment those comments look quite stupid.

Saturday Plays
Melbourne -10.5 d Kangaroos
If you ignore last weeks matches this would be an obvious bet. As it is Melbourne lost to Geelong who are always tough at home while Kangaroos beat a Port who possibly played there worst football ever.

Geelong +13.5 d Essendon
Geelong have been on a roll lately and this is the week where they can prove to be a real finals team. Essendon were good against Adelaide last week but may lose some confidence with Hird out.

Other games:
Fremantle - Brisbane
A game to steer clear of in my opinion. Brisbane have a number of players out but we all know their depth and could never write them off. Freo are always hard to beat at home

Port - Richmond
I would be wary of any one thinking of backing Port tonight as they only had about 27 players to choose from this week. There is forecast of rain tonight here in Adelaide and that may play into Port' s hands but 3 goal win would be hard.

Great call beast. :toast:

Looks like my under in Perth is done @ HT....but pressing on.

2 units Port/Richmond UNDER 188.5 (1.89 @ Betfair)

Richmond can't score if Richo doesn't, and Port really struggling lately.
Also expect Richmond to bottle it up ala Sydney.

Very confident of this bet.

Notice you didn't pipe in with a comment on the Melbourne game, Jeff.

Actually hope Richmond get up for you tonight so you'll have some lunch money for school on Monday.
Now run along.
