the land of confusion
:00hour It's been 6 long months but footy is finally back

Season opener played tonight when Melbourne take on St.Kilda at the MCG. Saints have huge injury woes so taking the Melb. ML looks like a good way to start @ $1.64.

Saturday night Brisbane ML @ $1.72 v Hawthorn & Sydney ML @ $1.57 v West Coast also look enticing.

Not big plays for week 1. Just warming up for for week 3 when I'll roll out the trusty ol' system. Looking at another snowballing bankroll builder, following last years success! We'll 'go hard' this season. :SIB

It's back!!! :00hour

..........now where are all the usual suspects?!!

Pawa, long time since we've caught up on things. What's news mate?? Glad to see the footy back into full swing for the year. Watching tonights replay over here in singaz atm. 5 games televised this weekend which is great. Looking forward to seeing what the system produces again this season. Any early projections for the flag and wooden spoon as we start the season??? I'll take West Coast for a repeat flag and Richmond for the spoon!

Pissweak start to the season by the Demons! Nothing is easy in the first week, like most sports. Long long season ahead so no concern here.

Good to see some familiar 'tailers' getting on board and some newbees too. Gunna make plenty over the next 6 months boys!! We'll get serious come week 3 once I have some real numbers to crunch. These first two weeks are really just for action & fun.

Coops my man! How the funk are ya brother?!! You've been MIA for some months now mate. How's it going up there in the tropics? Still cutting a swath through the local gals?!! lmao
Things have settled down here. I'm in a new place with all my dramas and I'm currently seeing a 21 yr old nympho (yes mate! :scared ) whom I am struggling to keep up with! So life is good. :em71: She reckons she only goes in for older guys.....mind you if she goes through my wallet and finds my age on my drivers licence she might get a shock! lmao :142smilie

Was thinking the Tigers for the spoon too, up until my Roos lost Thommo for the season with a knee reco. Now we will struggle unless some of the new guys really come through. I think the Eagles will be too distracted with all the drug & alcohol issues that have plagued their off season to go 'back to back' flags. You have heard about Ben Cousins flying over to the US to go into rehab haven't ya?!! He's funked and probably won't play again until later this year, if at all. That club has problems!

Freo are being backed heavily to win it all but I'm not convinced. I'd probably take Adelaide for the value right now.

Anyway......I'm off to watch my Roos take on the Collingwood scum at the G and then onwards to a 23rd B'day with some 'youngsters' LMFAO!!

Hmmmm......wonder where C is hiding?

Sexlexia...
I'm just peeking around the corner mate ;)

Not parting with any $$ this week myself, but do think the Tiges are certainly value at 2.25ish...even with Brown out.

The Blues well and truly over-rated imo.

Geelong to beat the Dogs too with Harris and Grant out...
...the only + I can see out of that game is Mooney racking up the points for my fantasy team(s)! :SIB

Mate, if I was you, I'd be forgetting all about football, betting in general...work...the lot!! :00hour LOL!!

Wow, 21 yr old paw! There ya go!! Nothing wrong with that mate. That must make you feel like you've shaved some years off your own age tally- lol! Hope she doesn't find that drivers licence! All going well up here mate but have had a thai mrs for about 6 months now- awesome chick so the 'sampling' has come to a close for the time being. Must have been a frustrating finish in that roos game today. Hope the tides turn for us both this season after last years shocker. Christo, how's things down south mate?? Looking forward to chatting to you guys thru the season.

Plenty of dogs getting up and/or covering. No real surprise there i guess. Sydney held out by one point & Brisbane doing it comfortably.

Yeah a very frustrating finish in my Roos game Coops. We were far better all day but just kept missing the simple shots at goal. Won't even mention Grant missing from 15 out at the death (even tho the ump ripped us off 15m on the penalty!). NO EXCUSES for hitting the post at this level. :com:

Your Bombers had a good win. Maybe they will go alright this year. Christo's Doggies did well too. May become flag favourites in the weeks ahead perhaps!!

Catch ya's later
