Hello again gents......

im going to take a stab at this... ive spent the last day or two trying to get a feel for the game.. also reading matchups, injuries, and what not...

ive had an alright day winning a couple of games on friday and saturday.

but i must tell you i do like the crows in this spot...

im not going to play this large (b/c i dont know what im doing)

but i like the crows +13 for 3units

and crows ML 1unit

please let me know if what you lads think..

No arguments from me with this bet.

I had already backed Adelaide a few days ago and just added some more on them when I saw the line get out to Adelaide +14 (with Canbet).

The two main risks are ....

No team has travelled across to Wstn Australia and won this season
Adelaide are missing a couple of important players

I do however think that Adelaide are the better of the two sides and are well worth playing with a couple of goals head start.

I am getting this game live on TV so I had better go grab a beer and cheer them on.

I will post a quick update at half time to let you know how they are going.

one reason i really like this game is b/c west coast is comming off a buy week...while adel is comming off a loss...

iv had tremendous luck fading teams who are coming back from an off week and playing a team that has lost their last game!


that is in American football. guess we will see tonight if we get the same results with Afl.

I must disagree with the C-man on this one. West Coast are 30-40 points better at home where they are undefeated so far in half a season.They are a heavy favourite and rightly so should be avoided for such small points start. Adelaide are not at full strength and would need to be to win this. Remember that 12 points can be scored in less than 30 seconds in this game of ours and these games are played over more than 120 minutes!!:nono:

Quarter time update:

West Coast 32
Adelaide 20

Adelaide got off to a nice start but as the quarter progressed West Coast were really dominating the clearances. West Coast captain Ben Cousins is having a great game and will need to be watched.

Looking for a more solid effort by Adelaide in the next quarter.

Adelaide played some very good footy late in the match and with 2 mins to go were actually covering the spread.

West Coast then kicked one further goal and won the game by 18 points.

Close but no cigar.
