Only two system selections for this weeks games, both standard 'Express' plays.
First up on Saturday night over in Perth we have a travelling 'top of the ladder' Magpies outfit landing at the home of the high flying Eagles. Now playing the Eagles at home is a tough ask at the best of times let alone playing them at home after they have lost the previous week!! But the system says....get on the Magpies.
Collingwood +19.5 versus West Coast Eagles @ $1.95 (will hold off abit as this line is creeping up!)
Not real keen on this one but I have tried to find an arguement for the Pies.
Pies have won their last 5 straight (by an ave 48pts) after the first up loss to Adelaide in round 1. The Eagles won their first 5 straight (by an ave 30pts)before falling to hometown rivals Freo, last week. West Coast average 15.4 goals a game over the last 5 while giving up only 11.6 goals. Collingwood average 19 goals a game while giving up only 11.
Collingwood have also knocked off the Eagles the last two encounters (last season Collingwood beat them when they were last on the ladder and the Eagles on top!) so they do match up alright against them and should hold no fears playing away. Mind you I'm not real happy with Collingwood 'resting' captain buckley!! I'm hoping for another low scoring defensive slug-fest where the points start might just get us the cash.
The other selection is on Sunday arvo over in Adelaide where Christo's Bulldogs travel in to take on Port Adelaide. System likes....
Western Bulldogs +12.5 versus Port Adelaide @ $1.90
Anything to back this one up??...ummm.....let's see.....Port have beaten 'em the last 8 times by an average margin of 48pts!!! :com: WTF??!!
