AFL TV Coverage next year

Interesting paragraph I read on the Sportodds home page relating the changes in AFL TV rights for next year.

Basically it looks like people living in Brisbane and Sydney will not be able to watch the Friday night game live on either Free to Air or Pay TV.

Overall televised coverage of the AFL may increase next season but Sydney and Brisbane fans will miss out in the multi million dollar deal struck between free to air Nine and Ten and Foxtel cable which does not allow Foxtel to broadcast Friday night matches live in the two cities.

Yeah, channel 9 is getting famous for 'not showing sport'

cricket cutbacks, delayed f1s, no rugby league in Melbourne, etc., etc., just more of the same from these tossers

AFL will not be happy, but they did it.......
