All of my work is up at http://www.geocities.com/jasondaub/afl2003/AFL03WEEK06.htm
Here's the Excel sheet for quick summary:

Just to clarify how I use these numbers. I will never make a play based solely on these numbers, so I don't really have a record that I can come up with based on these numbers. These ratings are primarily based home field advantage, home and road wins, and points scored and points given up. It doesn't take anything else into account, such as injuries, trends, etc. etc. etc. Until this year, home field advantage has always seemed HUGE in the AFL, however this year it has seemed to prove useless. That should change back sometime.
I just post the numbers up to help reinforce a play for or against, if someone wants to use them for that. If I come up with what I think is a strong play, I will post it, otherwise I will just put up the numbers to use as a guide. I haven't seen a real good play to post yet this year, and have only played 1 game myself this year so far, which was a HUGE loss by Colorado against San Jose 2 weeks ago. The last 2 years I have only played and posted games during the playoffs, when I usually do well. It's just too dificult for me to keep track of off-season moves in the league, so it takes a minimum of 4 weeks to get any read on it for me, usually more, to the point where I have only played playoffs lately. There is enough going on other places so I don't feel the need to play games just to play them each week, like I may during the NFL. I have become way more selective in the AFL.
Speech over, let's find some winners for the week!
