The pre season has now reached the Semi Finals and a couple of books are currently offering the following outright markets:

The first match this weekend sees Port Adelaide vs Sydney. Without doubt Port Adelaide have been the most impressive side during the past 3 weeks and they should really be too classy. I will be cheering Port Adelaide home with my futures bet in mind.

The second match sees Richmond vs Adelaide. Looking at the outright markets it appears Richmond may start slight favourite and if this is the case Adelaide appear to be a strong bet.

Not the start to the season I was hoping for. Brad Ottens played a great game for Richmond kicking 4 goals.

No play in the other semi final this weekend but I am certainly looking for a Port Adelaide win.

Good to see Port Adelaide get home last night in a fairly scrappy match so the pre-season final will see:

Port Adelaide vs Richmond

I am fairly confident that Port Adelaide will win but with a nice profit gauranteed I may look to hedge Richmond in some way depending on the odds (at least enough to cover the original stake).
