In case you haven't heard, Tiger broke up with his girlfriend of 2 years Joanna Jagoda because she wanted to get engaged. Good 'ol Earl Woods told tiger to break up with him and bragged about it in an interview with a LA Times columnist. Here's a quote or two:

"A wife can be a deterrent to a good game of golf."

"The level Tiger is at the finite little problems that come with marriage would destroy him."

Thank God I'm not married yet, I can't imagine what that would do to my swing

Maybe that's why 'Zinger choked on Sunday, his wife was nagging him about what color shirt he was going to wear that day.

But it does bring up an interesting point. Tiger is 25, lives in Orlando with his mother who cooks all his meals when he's home. Does this give him an advantage? He's competing against guys with wives and children and lives outside of golf. Azinger beat cancer, Love had his dad die, Couples went through a terrible divorce and then his ex wife just committed suicide and his dad died. Does it help Tiger that all he has is his golf bubble and nothing outside of it? Maybe. But Jordan did fine after he was married. Kobe seems to be doing fairly well. Nicklaus was dominant with a wife and kids. Shall we go down the list?

The point is - EARL, let him grow the hell up!

I don't think Earl is satisfied with "fifteen minutes of fame."

Really feel HE wants to be "Center Stage."

Think he's shooting for a daily, hourly TV show titled, "Earl Woods (the world's greatest golf psychologist for both my son and the rest of golfdom) on Golf's Mental Toughness. I taught him... I can SURELY teach you."
