Any thoughts......

Think they will come out of retirement and play on the same team?????

And if so, how good will they be compared to years past........

I believe the Washington Post has reported that they will both be playing for the Wizards next season.

Buddy,

I must disagree with your post about Jordan getting his "ass" kicked if he does come back to play next season. True, all he does is smoke cubans and play golf. Jordan is still a basketball god. And, if he does come back with Barkley to play for the Wizards next season I think it will be because they want to have FUN and play in the NBA next season. Can you say Washington Wizards most improved team in the NBA next season???? If Barkley and Jordan are on the same court together I can. I look forward to it as well because in 2 weeks I will be a resident of Washington D.C....................

Barkley was a great player in his day but he is inconsiquential. The key is Jordan. I listen to all these talkshow jerkoffs saying how they just want to remember him like he was and they don't want to see him get taken to school by the young guys. PLEASE! How anyone could ever bet against or doubt MJ is flabbergasting. He's never lost!
IF he decides to come back and I'll believe when I see it, I fully expect him to be doo- doo dunkin all over the place just like he always did. I'm one of those guys that think he could probably do it until he's 50.
If he does come back, I would think every free agent in the league would be fighting for any available spots on the Wizards.
This guy is a once in a universe player. DON'T UNDER ESTIMATE HIM

Some good points above. If Jordan does play. I believe Barkley will to. Jordan in shape will still be one of the top 5 best playing. Barkley in shape top 15, 20 forsure. And yes a free agent or two may take less $$ to have a run at with these two. The right guard with Jordan who can play team ball. With a top rebounder coming from Free agency. Does not have to be a big scorer. Again a team player. They make the playoffs. Might make it to final two. Then anything could happen. Tell you one thing, TV ratings would go back up.

Don't forget Doug Collins. Didn't Jordan get Collins fired when they were together in Chi? I thought firing Collins was wrong then and was real surprised when Jordan hired him to coach Wash. And now Jordan is going to play for him again. You have Hamilton playing the Pippen slot and with the knowledge that Jordan and Barkley have, they'll get the best out of anybody that plays with them. One thing for sure, with those two, nobody on that team is going to fluff-off and stay on the team. Should make for a very interesting season

I hope they stay home.
I think Jordan just wants to try and prove everyone wrong who doubts he can be succesful, again. Barkley's just coming along for the ride. Sir Charles is much better as an analyst on TNT, and i hope he stays there.
It's one thing thing to win in Chicago with the supporting cast that MJ had, where EVERYONE knew their role. Its another thing to come back in DC after what....4 years off? c'mon!
