If you've ever been through ORD US Customs set up, this shouldn't surprise you. ATL is one of the busiest airports in the world, so to think that some special screening process is being deployed elsewhere makes no sense. This isn't the Ft Lauderdale airport I went through, it was ATL.

They mentioned that the Atlanta airport was one of the airports that is overwhelmed. I'm just wondering why they say that when you were there last night and it wasn't like that at all. CNN is just as guilty as the other with all the bullshit.

Nope. I was there ~ 9pm last night. Might be the fastest I've ever breezed through customs. We weren't the only international flight arriving around that time either. Flights from St Lucia, Paris, Mexico, and Istanbul all came in around the time I was there.

Was at the CNN center a few weeks back and they have a big quote on the wall as you walk in about "Only the facts matter to us" type stuff and I had a good chuckle. Just like "We report you decide", they report their bases side and distance themselves from any story condemning their bases side. At least MSNBC just lets it be known they aren't even trying to be impartial. I have found when I want to see whats going in the world, look at fox.com and cnn.com and the truth is somewhere in the middle.

And the middle is quite a distance from each end.

The media, both sides, definitely are a problem. Facebook and all the memes that people post and believe is another problem.

People believe what they want to believe and for the most part people are stupid. People don't read anymore, they rely on pictures (memes) and headlines (instead of reading the article) to find out what's going on. People don't even like to click links they are so fucking lazy.

Absolute nightmare clearing customs in Chicago on a regular day of arrival. Can?t even imagine what happened there yesterday.
