Just a couple of local observations from the local front.

Nick Meyers 6'11" center is not expected to play tonight and Andy Hipsher starting forward is suffering from chronic back pain but expected to get some minutes in tonight, how many is anybodys guess.

The Dukes hung well with W Va in last outing and I feel that the Zips may be laying a bit too many tonight. Akron will be a damn fine team down the road, but still have to learn the fine art of putting teams away down the stretch.

Thanks Gman, As an interesting side note , when we walked into the JAR tonight the first thing I saw was Andy Hipsher in street clothes. I whipped out the cell and doubled my my action on the Dukes. Perfect ending, Zips get the win and we get the money!

We won't say anything about that CSU game, saw your humorous review of the game, 'Nuff said.

Oddly enough the Zips travel to the convo saturday to face what should be a very angry Viking squad. We may drive up for the game, not sure if I can swing it yet.
