YTD : 51-44 -4.8

Like this one to stay under the number. This is the return game of last years bracket buster affair that was one of the ugliest games I ever saw. Va Comm won that one 57-52 in Akron. The Zips do not have the fire power of last years team but continue to defend well so I expect a similar result.

Not playing a side here but if you do keep in mind that MAC officials will be in Virginia tonight.

Akron/ Va Commonwealth under 132' for 5 units

Any thoughts on Illinois State/CMU? Leaning ISU but can't quite bring myself to pull the trigger yet.

The entire world seems to be on the redbirds. If it gets any higher I'll drop a half on CMU. I seriously question the strength of schedule of ISU and keep in mind that ISU has lived at home while the Chipps have been on the road. CMU will be very physical tonight, I think they can hang around.

Watching the Akron/VCU game and not at all pleased with the Zips defensive effort. Going to grab a little of my total back.

Second half plays
Akron/ VCU over 71' 2 units
VCU pick 2 units

It would be easy to jump off the RAMS (-4) after not covering against across town rival SPIDERS on Saturday. But last years matchup between the ZIPS and RAMS has no effect on tonight at all. Yes, VCU did lose a strong player J. Schuler to graduating. But at the same time GRANT is utilizing strong youthful players in Burgess and Gywnn etc. Not to mention the last time at home VCU disposed of a MAC foe (WMU) with relative ease. Although Richmond began last weekends game at a fast pace-VCU countered with points of there own. Soaring over the total with 4 minutes left in the second.

Last year's results can be useful but the point remains it was last year. Plus the ZIPS caught the RAMS at home at 12:00 on Saturday. Best of Luck buddy. VCU

Its all bullshit anyways ya' know. BOL Spang as I enjoyed your insight into MAC football over the course of the season. I anticipate some good info from ya heading into basketball season and MAC matchups.

My father probably the sharpest gambler ive known always said "I dont bet on teams I havent seen play". Its pretty obvious (since I defended VCU) i'm from the Richmond area and follow the CAA conference. Enjoy your post- Thanks
