I notice that several of you like Akron tonight. Can someone please explain their reasoning on this pick, I'm having trouble with this one.
It looks to me that Oakland might be the Zips equal, as they lost to Michigan and Irvine by less than 8 and tonight's game is on a neutral court.
Akron is a bottom-tier MAC team while Oakland has all five starters back and they think that this is the year that the school might make their first NCAA tourney. From what I understand they're pretty pumped up to play in this tournament and get some national exposure by playing Purdue in the finals.
