Alabama now has 209 deaths
6200 cases
77 percent of victims were 65 years old or older.
Population in Alabama is 5 million.

New York now has 17,600 deaths
264,000 cases
Population in New York is 20 million

In Alabama, over 200 k have filed for unemployment. 200 thousand loses a job versus 200 deaths

Given apples to apples Alabama would have 836 deaths,,And we may catch NY before its over, but maybe this is the reason why some States are getting antsy about reopening.I hope and pray for a cure soon.

The question is "Would New York shutdown (and the rest of the country) if the numbers were in reverse?" Just asking.
