Maine is starting to buy into former women's coach Richard Barron style of play....With a depleted roster from a year ago this team is starting to jell among the Conferences 2nd tier teams....Maine native Fleming & Moss are growing on the court, feeling they belong at the D1 level....Stewart, White, Eze all have picked up their games of late....The FT/FG/Reb % have all increased over the season... Maine may have had eyes on a NCAA Bid if they could have signed homegrown Nick Mayo (E, KY) and kept guard Aaron Calixte in blue & black.
Sundays game at the Cross Center falls the day after the start of the High School State Basketball Tourney as well as school vacation week....Teams/families from the county and downeast plan their vacation time around this event. This should be one of the better crowds to see a men game this year, parent sending their kids to the game while they enjoy the afternoon at Hollywood Casino across the street....
Maine has also found their scoring touch over the last 10 games as have the Danes, so the over 128 looks solid and I'll bite on the home Black Bears as well.....:0008
