I've been watching this game today and this guy is HANDS DOWN the second best player in baseball next to Barry Bonds....I'm sure it's no shock to many of you, but I just haven't got to see this guy play much besides ESPN highlights......Is it me or are the Cardinals going to the World Series this year???? I feel it with this team..they have something extremely special and have been playing very inspiring baseball ALL SEASON....It is the year for the Cards....Yankees/Cards World Series would be a gift!!! It's going to be an exciting second half of the season.
Oh and Pujols was 5-5, 3 homeruns today with the game leading two run shot in the ninth....regardless if they hold on to this win or not they have my take to go to the series!! I have neve seen any team beat Dusty Baker the way LaRussa's Cards have this year...thank goodness for them no more games.
