Anyone have an opening line with the OVER/UNDER for that WBA belt fight this friday? :shrug: Trying to get some odds on this and see nothing...

I would check wednesday or thursday. Not sure where you play, but he same books coinsistently hang sides and totals every wednesday or thursday with at least $500 limits.

both of their last wins were prolly overrated, i think Santos' last win overrated a smidge more due to the fact that rivera was quite a bit smaller and really outgunned

Alcine will be at least a -200 favorite, probably more. my best bet anyhow wouldbe the OVER there. I expect a close win by judges dec to Alcine or a split dec favoring the local. This fight will go all the way.... :0corn

Take this for what it's worth but I have heard Alcine is very chinny and has been KO'd a couple of times by sparring partners.

Well... what i heard on my side (reliable source) is that his sparring partner was Adonis Stevenson (record:11-0 8KO's) and he is a huge puncher (looks his KO's ratio), left handed like Santos but 15-20 pounds heavier so Alcine received more hard punches than he will get from Santos?. I'm betting BIG on the OVER!:0corn
at +300 you gotta love Santos but the OVER 9.5 looks very nice to me!!!! Too bad i dont have an acc there...

Santos is value here - no question about that. The odds are just crazy. Alcine fought no one like Santos. Santos fought everyone, and often won. He find the ways to win, sometimes could be dirty fighter if he feels like. Also Santos bigger then Alcine.
and now Graham Houston is predicting an easy win for Alcine... Cant wait to watch that fight!:0corn
