I don`t see it happening....no way they jeopardize aldo/McGregor by putting McGregor in with edgar....and that probably goes for mendes(although that would be more likely than frankie).....frankie`s way too dangerous and mendes is no bagshot himself......

all the hype...the humongous publicity tour....it`s a bit shocking that aldo was training this hard this late in the game(roughly two weeks out).....

theres talk of moving it to brazil and if that turns out to be true,lots of folks are going to cry foul,imo...

if aldo can`t go,i`d be surprised if McGregor gets anything more than a sacrificial lamb(if he fights at all ).....

we`ll see....the game is afoot...

5 dimes pulled it ....

I already have McGregor at +160....so I want it to happen....

aldo `s rib isn`t broken...just a bruise and some cartilage pain.......he`s goin` through with it(or so I`m hearing)....if he can`t go,they`re sayin` that mendes will step in......

sticking mcgegor in with a wrestler might kill the golden goose...that would shock me....

Even if the fight goes ahead there is no avatar bet...a healthy Aldo was going to smash the Irishman, now that Aldo is hurt he has no chance of winning.

I doubt the fight will happen.



Sucks, I had Aldo at $1.83 (-120) odds, easiest bet at those odds in history of gambling, doesn't matter now though, the fight is 95 percent not going to happen.

I had healthy Aldo winning.

I've also heard Nate Diaz been thrown around incase Aldo cannot make it at a higher weight. That fight makes sense - a bigger name and a very winnable fight for CM

I`m beginning to think maybe McGregor is getting inside aldo`s head......the guy is a real royal pain in the ass(I mean that in an effective gamesmanship sort of way)......I`ve watched aldo react and at times he looks overwhelmed....and at times very mad........

McGregor`s playing mind games...but the back and forth between the two seems legitimately hotter than satan`s jock strap......

I really want this to happen in july....the entire main card is solid and some of the prelims are interesting......

is McGregor all hype?.....I want to know....

What kind of proof is floating around that Aldo was actually hurt?
I saw that his sparring partner came out and apologized.
Its not possible Aldo floated this to have Mick scout 2 fighters even if for a day or two?

I mean who could have predicted the UFC has a back up in waiting. How many times has that happened in the past?

If the mick is in Aldo's head maybe Aldo is thinking outside the box.

Any madjackers going to be in Vegas that weekend?

really hard to believe that 2 weeks from the biggest fight in recent memory a guy would "slip" and accidentally kick aldo hard enough to injure ribs.....they`re hard-contact sparring two weeks out?..maybe they are but if so,it`s pretty damned stupid(particularly considering the resources the ufc has expended promoting this fight)... rolling on the mat but not ripping shots that could accidentally postpone a huge fight.........you`d think he`d be sparring and shadow boxing but not with any real contact...


what a damned shame....

Certainly sucks. The last MMA fight that had me looking forward to as much as this one was Cro-cop vs Fedor back in the day. Massive blow for the UFC, Aldo, Conor and the fans.

However....Mendes vs Conor is another really great fight as well. Two different guys. Different reach and height.
