Well, I'm very disappointed that for the first time in ages - maybe for the first time ever - it's unlikely I'll be contributing to the forum's lengthy track record of having a PLUS units record on all posted plays. Stan, kindly inform me of my current deficit on the year for Outrights and Matchups. I'm fairly sure the combined deficit is something less than 10 units . . . Anyway, I can't go down without a bit of a fight, although I haven't paid serious attention to "my golf" for capping purposes since the football season started, and realistically the work I am starting with now is aimed at paying dividends in 2009. Anywho . . .

Charl Schwartzel(9/1) e.w.
James Kamte(80/1) e.w.

- - No question the South Africans are as feisty as any nationality on the European Tour when it comes to jealously guarding their titles against the foreign invaders. The few big names in this field will no doubt fill some of the places, and Schwartzel obviously has his sights set on winning. As for Kamte, this event has given up it's share of first-time winners, and his bona fides and tracking tick more than a few boxes with me, plus his price comparisons and the potential dynamics from his pairing helped me pull the trigger.

Cheers!

Tonight I've been "following" a real-time leaderboard for the first time in over two months, maybe three months. Amazing.

Equally amazing how I'm remembering how important "following" a leaderboard is to my capping. Even more amazing that I even needed to be reminded.

Just sayin'.

You've been quite the model of consistency LIA
We got a few events left --would like to see you keep the string intact.

Expecting a 100 plus unit year like you had in 06 next year. I always look forward to your writeups which are not only quite informative--but portray impeccable writing skills I have always admired.

Funny thing....I have never really thought about it before but upon reflection my constant following of the leaderboards online seems to be of great benefit. Cant really put my finger on why that would be the case...perhaps the live leaderboard gives me a sense of relative performence you simply dont get otherwise.

Unfortunately the live leaderboard for the Aussie Open has been terribly unrealiale the last couple of days. Thankfully its on the tube in a couple of hours.

Like DTB...always enjoy your insights LIA.
