Round 1 plays (4pts):

Paul Dunne to beat Richard Sterne -105 @ 5Dimes
Opposing Sterne who has had recurrent injury problems over recent seasons as well as struggles with his game and made his first start in five months at the Cape Town Open last week. He finished 20th in that event (with a much weaker field). In his own words: ?The game isn?t that far off, to be honest. I?m a bit surprised ? in a good way.? That doesn't sound too promising ahead of this week and so is opposed with Dunne who is best-known as the amateur who held a share of the 54-hole lead in this year's Open Championship as an amateur. He has now turned professional and make the cut in all three European Tour events (including two top-25 finishes), so should be more likely to be playing at the weekend.

Morten Orum Madsen to beat Pelle Edberg -120 @ 5Dimes
In his first start in this event since 2009, Edberg missed the cut by 10 shots last year. Together with missing the cut in five of his last seven events, he is a player to oppose this week and particularly with Madsen who has a very good record on this course - he has finished in the top-20 in each of the last two years here and in 2013, he led the event after each of the first two rounds.

[unofficial rd1 system plays: Hebert tb Stone -115; Bland tb Pepperell -105; Kruger tb Mulroy -105]

Round 2 play (4pts):

Ricardo Gouveia to beat Brandon Stone -110 @ Paddy Power
Gouveia has had such a good year on the Challenge Tour that not only was he the runaway leader of the Order of Merit, but he ranks inside the top-90 in the World Rankings despite not being a member of a top-level Tour. He is behind Stone after day one, but given his golf this year, he is good odds to improve significantly over the rest of the week.
