sorry to hear it...couldn`t have been easy watching her son involved in so many life and death struggles in the ring and seeing him a bit diminished afterward...

r.i.p...

Hope you saw "The Fighter". But I'm sure you must have. I don't usually care for boxing movies as I find them too contrived, but I loved this one. Outstanding acting all around, and Amy Adams is never hard to look at! I think some fighters just endear themselves to peoples hearts, and I think Mickey was one of them.

saw the trailer....and marky mark mentioned that he didn`t want to fight some guy because he was 30 pounds bigger(or some such foolishness)...checked boxrec and i couldn`t find said light heavyweight that ward fought....

so i figured that given the fact that 99% of sports movies are bogus (and suck) and that marky mark is to acting what saddam hussein was to military strategy,i just passed on the movie...

Well I agree for the most part, but I did enjoy this one. Maybe because it was Mickey Ward. Amy Adams will give a guy a chubby surely. Still trying to find out if Molina made weight for tonites fight at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas. Been breaking the sports books balls to put up lines. Now I know why. Get this; the "M" is the hub in Vegas for Cantor gaming sports, and last nite I drive 60 miles rt to TRY and make a bet, and they did'nt even know there was a fight tonite!!! WTF. I just looked at the guy like has got to be joking. Jeez.

The guy was a tad red face to say the least. Hey; they are supposed to know what the fuk is going on. How the hell is it we know and they don't? I mean, this is a "professional" Las Vegas sports book. One reason I haven't been betting boxing.

floyd seems to have laid action there on the most important fights to our gentry here

so if you go in with a floyd mayweather costume, you will have more clout and they'll put the fight on the board just for you cuz you're betting at least 40k on fights

Believe it or not, that is exactly what I was told! If you are known and fire away, they will attempt to accommodate you. The way of the world.

I'm sure he drops a lot. He has been known to bet NBA, NFL, boxing, and who knows what else. Lets face it, we are dealing with the ego of the century, so he ain't about to brag about it when he goes in the soup.
