think the wrong team is favored. in every computer module i've run and all the important statistical categories, texas comes up ahead. texas picking up 3rd down conversions at a clip of 58% while oklahoma still a respectable 46%. Texas slight edge on opponent conversions to 31% while oky giving up 38%. qb ratings are a no brainer. piss off jones coming in at 135 while ashe sporting a cool 180+.
neither of the teams 1 loss were bad. losing to k state or west virginia this year aren't bad losses and both came at home. i'd like to give the coaching edge to oklahoma, but i won't cause stoops is a moron as well.
big thing as always is turnover. texas with a respectable +1.5 turnover margin, while oklahoma comes in at a -.5 per game.
I know oky has been dominant lately in the series, but give me a break. this is a false favorite. texas should easily be able to put more points on the board than okie. they should win the turnover battle and i'll take ashe or your grandmother even over landry "small game" jones.
