New York Giants versus Kansas City Chiefs Monday Night
All Saints Day and I am praying this pick wins.
The first question is what is wrong with Kansas City. There definitely may be some problems with their team. Maybe the number one problem is turnovers. The defensive has been terrible. The defensive was never the strength of the team. The offense is what makes the Chiefs click. They are 3-4 but they have also played some pretty good teams. Playing a weak team like the Giants might be just what the doctor ordered.
I think the Chiefs offense shows up tonight for a variety of reason. On the defensive side of things the Giants give up the 25th most completions. What causes turnovers? I would say pressure on the QB is an important factor. Giants are the 6th worse in the league.
I think they get their mojo back tonight and I am going with Kelce. The posted total is 6.5. This year he has been target 65 times with 45 completions. He would have gone over 6.5 catches 4 times and lost 3 times.
But what if we a see a little of the Chiefs offense of 2020 tonight? The last 8 games of 2020 regular season and all 3 of the playoff games Kelce had 7 or more catches. So he is 15-3 over 6.5 catches the last 18 games. Good enough for me.
My for fun prop is Booker to score first TD at 10-1. Giants have 7 rushing TD?s and 6 passing. KC defense has given up 10 rushing TD?s and 13 passing TD?s. Some value at 10-1 for fun.
