Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I found it interesting that San Fran gets home field advantage for the Series because the NL won the All Star Game, where Matt Cain got the win in 2 scoreless innings, and the loser? Justin Verlander who gave up 5 ER in his inning of work.

And how about pablo and melky being the top 2 vote gettors for mvp....

Both whom lit up verlander in the 1st....

And then melky suspended after playing such a crucial role in determining homefield advantage.......

They were 1 up when Melky was suspended. Went on a tear when he left. Look at them now.

They are running, not walking away from him, as he is in fact eligible for the WS.
