Yeah, I see that. I guess I just need to sit back relax and ride the locks train. I kept putting inmate requests forms in to get a computer in the library but they didnt get back to me.

Semi retirement? Knock that sh!t off. Kind of a lull in fights right now so theres not much to talk about. I'm in the process of watching every major fight in the last 16 months on DVD to get up to speed. This Mario Santiago guy fights 6-2 on Showtime. I saw him on the Wink vs Mosely undercard and was predicting greatness for him a couple of years ago. Im curious to see if 5dimes or Pinny will put a line on his fight. Probably not, his opponent is TBA.

Lost big on Danny Green. I need to just let you guys take care of me.

Yea, we miss almly's enhanced wittiness. Got to spice things up around here and almlys just the guy to do it. Oh yea, to bring you up to speed, GW is quite the scholar when he chooses to be. Has perfected his writing skills markedly.

I bumped into Almly last week at the other site, he was looking for the old crew so I pointed him in the right direction.

Spinch, Franks, what do you think about Winky at +133 to win by decision?

Is that German guy from the other place still around that was helping us out with the European action? I forgot that guys name but he was solid with the Euros.

I did get to watch Telefutura in the jug and I think Ponce De Leon is garbage. The guy hes fighting is undefeated and at +660. Anybody know anything about this Barrera guy?

almly...jump up into the main boxing thread.......it`s easier for everybody to follow all the give and take....

personally, without taking a long hard look, this fight`s going to the cards....

i doubt that taylor will stop winky..but,imo,that`s more of a possibility that winky stopping taylor...winky hit trinidad with every punch and couldn`t stop him...hasn`t stopped anybody in quite awhile...

taylor`s a big middleweight...and winky`s 34 yrs old...heading toward 35...

i grabbed taylor early on at plus money....maybe a wright by decision hedge would be smart...not sure about that yet...

unless the lefty style throws taylor for a loop,he`s younger,quicker,stronger......better feet...

he`s already seen hopkins...as crafty as winky and a good deal bigger...

the lefty stance is the wildcard...imo

Taylor is still a work in progress. Will be the busier of the two. Honestly, I like Taylor by decision as he will outwork Winky. Even if he keeps hitting Winky on the arms, it will LOOK better than blocking shots all nite. Taylor is very focused and still hungary. He knows Hopkins was a stepping stone, albeit a steep one. He MUST beat Winky to be considered the "real deal". Taylor by UD or SD.

I already gave Almly my opinion at the other forum, I think thats why he asked the question here.

As posted in previous threads...I played Wright by 12 round decision at +156 and have a 4 month old bet on Taylor at +140 (olympic)

....

....

Taking Wright by decision is flat out a bad bet. Just take the odds on Wright to win. The reason is simple. There is a good chance this will be a close fight that wil go to the cards. Good chance of a draw. if you bet Wright by decision and the draw comwes up....you lose. If you bet Wright straight up you get a refund on a draw. The price difference in Wright and Wright by dec isn't worth the risk.

Pinnacle...Wright +109...Wright by decision +121

5dimes...Wright -105...Wright by 12 decision +124

At those prices...I agree completely

I got mine at +156 and already played the DRAW at +1700

Yeah at +156 Wright by dec wasn't a bad play obviously but the difference betwen +109 and +121 isn't worth the risk. In fact the other night Wright was +115 to just win.

i think a few bucks on the draw prop is a no-brainer in this fight...

good point on the decision prop...at least for right now.....

even with the lefty/righty issue, neither guy has a history of cutting...and it doesn`t appear it will be a clinch filled type of fight given the styles...

if this doesn`t go 12,i`ll be downright shocked.....

obviously, the over/under odds are indicative of that fact....

but,you never know...
