Alphabet Soup Totals

There is NCCA--CIT--CBI--NIT. I am just going to post totals from the NCCA games. gl I have no idea how to read teams playing in these other tournaments. Will they be playing more underclassmen, changing offenses, is the coach coming back, some seniors have refused to play in the past, do they even want to be there as they thought they were snubbed by the final 64, are they excited to be there--on and on and on.

I get what you are saying . It's a very, very time consuming job.Maybe easy enough to do for one that has a ton of free time but almost impossible to stay on top of everybody unless you have no life. I know that I don't have the time or desire to get my finger on the pulse of Houston Baptist's emotional level. I think it's great to have a few guys that specialize on specific conferences or areas. For example, I have the highest regard and trust for Loophole and his info on the Southern Conf. Stuff like that is vital. It's unfortunate that there are not more here like him or Hawkeye.

These lesser tourney's are tough to figure.I do know that relying on simply numbers capping in these tourneys is a recipe for disaster. I know that I just stick to the teams I know well.

i dont number cap, vegas does that for us, i cap emotions etc, that why i mainly stick to college sports, cant relate to mega-millionaires

3P, your thoughts on Akron tonight would be appreciated. I see money coming in on Ohio State in the last hour, but their motivation has to be a question in this one. Add to that some quotes from Akron players saying how much a win on State's home court would mean to them (they roster 10 Ohio-ans? i believe) and the short number starts to make some sense. You see a possible outright win here by the Zips? I certainly lean that direction but I'd love to hear your thoughts before making a any kind of play.

I like Akron, yeah think they can win. nothing strong but can say that they are extremely motivated for tonight. Just a matter if they shoot the 3 ball well. Bucks not real good at defending the 3

It is hard to capp the "Alphabet" tourneys but I really enjoy doing it.....emotion is involved....who is upset at getting over looked,who is happy and getting another chance,who is angry and just playing out the season...etc,etc...one good thing about these early games is that they play on the higher seeds home court...I followed the Sun conf and of course the MAAC...passed on Siena and UL Monroe because saw no advantage in the numbers...both lost and didn't cover.....
Tonight really liked St Mary's...vs New Mex St line was -12 and dropped to -10.5...made a big play on the Gaels....Aggies have a stud player but Mary is so well coached...tonite you will see about 10 bounce passes from their gds...great fundamentals...I capped this game at -14-to -17....line opened at -12 and dropped a few more...it is time consuming but it only lasts a week or two more... good luck to everyone in the tournament...I'm off to Vegas in the morning...
