yep....sometimes the best stories come when people are suffering.....not because they are suffering, but what we get to see through them when they are and how they affect our lives....
i am gonna spend my whole life trying to relieve suffering, and help people fight it (i believe all of us should live like this -- it is the most rewarding -- we can all help heal hearts, minds, feelings, and to some extent bodies), but eventually it is going to hit us all....one thing though that will make my job rewarding will be able to see the beauty of people as they endure hardship and demonstrate grace, courage, faith, and love.......
one of the reasons that i am very adament against euthenasia is because it assumes that everything that comes about from human suffering is bad.....i do not believe in that assumption.....i hate pain -- everyone hates pain -- but pain is something we all share in common and us human beings are so arrogant sometimes that being exposed to pain in our own lives or lives of others can make us humble in a hurry.....stories like this can make the most hardened of hearts become soft.....the guy who cares only about himself but as he sees a human life hanging upon the balance of every breath cannot help but be touched by the frailty of human life.....
sometimes it takes great tragedy to bring out the good in mankind.....this is so, because all men are cursed by being selfish by nature.....going through life's tough experiences and observing others go through them touches our hearts like a sharp toothed sword and brings out the best in humanity 100% of the time......
we are created to laugh with those of us who laugh, cry with those of us who are crying, dance with those of us who dance, rejoice with those who are rejoicing, grieve with those of us who are grieving, and hurt with those of us who are hurting.......living genuinely by these principles in our interactions with others leads to much fulfillment at the end of the day......
