So I am bidding on a real estate domain name that is being sold on EBAY. I was the high bidder and now every time I try to bid, the persons goes ahead of me. I know they have a high price but I bid when it was like 2200 dollars now its 12,200 in less then two hours. I am willing to go high for the site which is

BUYAHome.com and is registered with the major search engines

But is it possible that the seller and the high bidder are the same and they are just trying to trap someone into a bigger price? Thanks

I got an email saying from the bidder saying that he would be willing to stop bidding for $250 dollars in his paypal account. I want the web site but does this shit happen all the time? And is it legal?

If they did that, I would suspect the seller is the bidder. Can't say I've ever had that happen to me. The name will probably be back up on ebay again in another month and he'll be forced to sell to himself.
