I don't mind the waggle as long as Fox has 24 hr coverage of the war.I do the same thing when he addresses a ball as I do on commercials, flip it over to news. However I can imagine the distraction of being paired with him and might be worthwhile observing that for befenit of wagers.IMHO I really enjoyed his "spontanious"antics when 1st coming on scene. However it has become apparent they are no longer spontanious but hamming it for the cameras.Concerning his remark in above article that we will see kids copying it.No $hit,Tiger has increased the ave round to 5 hrs with the hackers he's brought to the course now we can add another 1/2 or longer.Enjoy it while you can Sergio.

Could I offer a dissenting voice ... ?

I agree that he is guilty of overplaying the boyish antics and during the same time (i.e. post-Medinah) he has behaved like a spoilt brat at times, but I do feel for him with the re-gripping saga.

I liken it more to the yips than to Tiger's fist-pumping. It is clear that it is pressure-related. It was very evident at the US Open last year and at the $2million Nedbank Challenge in Sun City last month - he shot a brilliant 63 in the final round when the 2nd best score was 68 to deny Els in a play-off - he stormed away from his ball after countless re-grips because he coldn't get settled over the ball.

The more the TV (and thus ultimately the crowds) take delight in ridiculing him for something that I believe he has no control over, the more likely it will be that we will lose this flawed, but predigious talent.

I don't want to see a player pushed to the point where he has to continually back away from the ball, because he can't settle over it and he is forced to be become increasingly self-conscious about it. Imagine what his nerves will be like at 32, not 22! IMO He needs a sports psychologist to help him focus when addressing the ball. If this were on the greens, it would not be funny.

Just my 2 cents
