a good analogy of a child growing up in their parents footsteps ... would be like a train on a track, the engine leading and the caboose following.

just thought of that, needs some work.

Either of you guys, what part of Canada is that in? My wife and I like to go to the mountains for a week or so in summer and have been to the Rockies, Cascades, Sierras, White Mts., Appalachians, etc down here in the States. We were thinking about heading to the Canadian Rockies next summer. We are kinda into the more "off the beaten path" areas rather than big tourist areas like Banff. Any thoughts? We usually rent a house.

Subagoto, the Muskokas are located about 2 hours northwest of Toronto. The lakes are beautiful and ditto for the scenery. Cottages can range from a one room cabin, to a monster 6 million dollar cottage. However, there are no mountains. If that is what your looking for, I would recomend Vancouver Island. I used to live in Campbell River, salmon capitol of the world. I would fly into Seattle rent a car and take the ferry to Victoria. From there I would drive to Tofino and spend a couple nights. From there head to Campbell River and do some fishing. There are around 140 Provincal parks on Vancouver Island. If you need any more info let me know.

Prospector, this summer I am to busy to get away for a holiday. Our friends have a cottage in Parry Sound, Bobby Orr country. Next summer I'll stop at your store and have a cold one and discuss some sporting info and talk about the surveying buisness.
