I personally think they made the right decision and I'm glad that players will not be able to use the crutch that is the anchored stroke - and if the guys who use the anchored stroke can't adjust to the "real" putting stroke than imo they don't deserve to be out there
feel a bit for Tim Clark as he seems to have a medical condition that makes it hard for him to employ a standard stroke, but he can still use the long putter so don't fully understand the problem
guess i'm a bit of a purist but I think the governing bodies of golf definitely made the right call as the anchored stroke, regardless of what anyone who uses it says, was gaining a lot of traction in the game
