Tropeano vs Kennedy.

Another crapshot SP going for the Angels. He's 27 and may have enough upside to stick around this depleted rotation. I see laa -128. I'd be interested in riding the laa streak if it were closer to even, but Tropeano is more of a fly-ball pitcher than a ground ball pitcher, and we're looking at a forecast suggesting a strong wind blowing out to left field. Royals have only hit 4 HR the entire season (Tigers worse at 3, Angels the most at 20). Angels bullpen has been getting a work-out, lately, as well.

Kennedy had a good spring training and has carried that over to the regular season with 2 solid starts. He has trouble keeping ball on the ground, as well, and he has given up more than 30 HR over each of the past 3 seasons ('15-'17), despite the fact that Kauffman stadium is a bit of a pitcher's park.

The pitcher's park thing, the solid showing by Kennedy lately, the Royals grim batting numbers and, maybe, the Angels jaunt from Texas to KC for this game all tempt me towards the under 9.5 at +102. The big "?" on Tropeano (and Angels BP) and the weather is giving me pause.

If I'm diligent near game time, I can often catch who the ump is for a series starter. Gimme a Doug Eddings or something and I might dive in. I also see that Trout is only 1-for-10 career vs Kennedy (a double) though Pujols has taken him yard 3 times (5-for-18 or .278).

Hard to play Angels games under, right now, but at Kauffman--and with the Royals doing half the batting--this one is tempting.

btw, anybody have a copy of Ohtani's last start? I've been checking youtube and also for torrents as I'd like to watch that again; I saw him the 3rd though 7th and I was pretty blown away by his stuff AND his composure...phenomenal.

Just some words.
