Angels -143 2x

Don't bet a whole lot of baseball but will try this one out.

Like going against rookies that have been pitching all year. Most of the time, it is the most innings they've ever pitched in their life and the arm starts to tire. In this case it's even been confirmed as Chris Young left his last game after only 1 inning with a tired arm and he hasn't pitched since Sept. 7. Santana is also pithing really well, especially at home where he has an ERA of just over 1 and is 3-0 during his last 4 starts at home. Young has also not pitched well against the Angels this year, compiling a 1-2 record with a 7.79 ERA this year. Couple all that with the Angels on a roll after a come from behind victory last night and looking to put another nail in the coffin of the A's division hopes.

Thoughts appreciated.

I'm seeing the public hitting the Halo's pretty good but the big line drop off the open has me stumped.

I was liking the Rangers to avoid the sweep. From what I saw, Young either wins on the road this season, or the game goes Over.

I don't like betting lower talent teams that just miss winning games. They usually can't bring it for that evasive W.

May play the Over as I don't see either pitcher sticking around long. Last nights game had a chance to go Under IE, but the starter for Texas got a rocket to the head off of Guererro's bat. Guess he was still doing the Pepsi commercial.

Texas has been hitting well of late.

Santana is pretty much a rookie who has thrown a lot of innings this year if you add in what he did in minors. He has been very inconsistent, but when he is right, you will get a quality start out of him. It looks like the right side and Johnny, I like that theory.
