Found these to be noteworthy...
Roast of the Week
Hell, why not take our favorite menu item (the Kansas St. Wildcats), from the buffet line once again this week.
The Wildcats are stronger on both sides of the ball and the Husker Black Shirt defense is allowing 33 points
per game on the road this year. Look for the Wildcat defense that only allows 75 yards per game rushing to
put the shackles on the Cornhusker run game forcing QB Lord to the air. Kansas St. has covered 24 of their
last 32 games in Manhattan while Nebraska has covered but 1 of it?s last 6 road games. Go ahead and take
the Wildcats because in the words of Winona Ryder ?it?s a steal?.
History Lessons
1. Central Michigan - Chips haven?t covered as HF since ?99.
2. Kansas - Jaybirds 0-10 ATS as dog in last home game.
3. Alabama - Tide has only one loss in Bayou since `69. (And that loss wasn't at night!)
4. South Florida - 18 straight home wins.
5. Rice - 12-0 ATS as HD.
