angulo vs gutierrez....

angulo looked explosive vs ricardo cortes.....gutierrez is no stumblebumb(even though his bout with clottey is a bit hazy in my mind)...

not getting a clear picture in my mind about gutierrez....i recalll it was clearly a clottey win,but that gutierrez was competitve...

i had the impression that angulo looks for the big punches and is a little economical with his shots...he does have a solid amateur pedigree....

does gutierrez have a shot at outboxing angulo here?....

i`m asking...not picking anybody.....

In my book Clottey clearly was the better fighter, but Clottey could not keep up with Gutierrez's workrate, and he could not hurt him, so the fight got kind of close. Clottey did allot of holding. Most likely he had problems with his hands, again.

Gutierrez had a "close" fight with Clottey, but I think Gutierrez often looks amateurish and his performances are rugged. I think he will be a good opponent for Angulo. In my book Gutierrez don't have the discipline to outbox Angulo. Angulo will make Gutierrez fight.

Like many, I've only seen a few rounds of Angulo. But to me, he looks good. I think his power is for real. So far he neglects his defense, but I guess he has the power and chin to make up for it. I think his punches are sharp. I think Angulo will get close enough to land those sharp punches on rugged Gutierrez.

I'm on Angulo in this fight at +220, and I also think he has a good chance of stopping Gutierrez. I have a few bets on the under at +185. It feels kind of risky, when you've seen so little of a fighter, but that's gambling. :0corn
