Lonzo sucks.. has assists every game cuz he can?t shoot the ball he better pass it up. But he might get better. Still a rookie, look at Kobe rookie stats.. not impressive either.
A little early to throw him under the bus...
he was hyped coming out of college because he is a floor leader, his passing... his assists..
which he's starting out mostly pretty well... hell of a lot better than DeAngelo Russell (another top Lakers pick, since departed) who neither shot 3 pointers well his 1st season (though that didn't stop him from shooting lots of em) nor did he pass well or often.
It takes a while for players to learn each other's games, where guys like the ball, what their spot is they like to shoot from, etc...
and he just turned 20, would be a sophomore in college...
Magic couldn't shoot ft's or 3pt shots when he came into the league.. a few yrs later he was a 90% at the line and a deadly 3pt set-shooter...
relax... Rome wasn't built in a day, and this team (and leadership) look to be moving in the right direction to me.

Baron Davis averaged like 5 points a game as a rookie and couldn't even crack the starting lineup. He was a top 3 pick and had a great career.
