England finished their 10 games of qualifications with 6-3-1 and goal difference 21-7 but was in one easy group with Germany,Poland,Austria,Wales and Azerbaijan.At home England had 3-1-1 and 11-5...IMO not really best teams...
On the another side France had in 8 games of qualification score of 6-1-1 and 13-5 but France was in one of hardest group with Switzerland,Israel,Ireland and Cyprus..This was hard group cuz all teams are typical "home win" teams but France on the away games had 3-0-1 and 8-4 goal diff
