Ohio but not a Buckeye
Roy Nelson: $80,000
Andrei Arlovski: $500,000 (no win bonus)+
Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson: $500,000*

Ok, these other organizations often fail to understand why they can't make it. First, let me start off with Roy Nelson. This guy was the IFL HW Champion, big deal...only because a few guys left and didn't fight in the championship grand prix. Also, this guy is worth maybe 35k per fight IF HE WINS. Paying a guy like Nelson lets say 25k per fight win or lose, 4 times a year, IMO is more than generous to what he's worth.

Then Arlovski. Don't get me wrong, I've liked Andre for a long time, he's one of my favorite fighters behind Wandy, Rua, and Vera, and Thiago Silva. However, you simply can't pay guys like him that much money. A guy like him could get paid 100k per fight and be set, making great money.

Kimbo, I don't really need to say a whole lot. Kimbo doesn't deserve Roy Nelson money, but I understand why they pay the guy. However, money based reasons, an organization can't pay a guy 500k like him and expect to live. If you see how much these companies are overpaying these guys and then add up all the overpaid expenditures over a year, you can see how a compnay EASILY could save themselves 3-5million dollars a YEAR.
