I see that you are a big fan of Juventus. ( I am a big Milan fan, loved Van Basten, Baresi, Costacurta etc...) Its been tough lately trying to keep up with Serie A, been very busy. My dad is a fanatical Naples fan & Salernitana fan. My other uncle is a huge Inter fan and my buddy is a Roma fan. They are all from Italy. I used to go over to their hometown every summer for a month or two.
Anyway what do think of Italia's chances this year. My father travels everywhere the Azzurri play in the World Cup. He's been to every Italy World Cup game since '90. Anyway hope we can keep in touch during the World Cup. Maybe MJ will have a topic for World Cup '2002.:D

Gianmarco piacere:)

Dont have the time to really talk right now , but want to let you know i will definitely get back to you.

I was born in gaeta, Father is huge napolitana fan. I played with salernitana back in 92 when i was 17. At the time they were in Serie C uno. I was in foxboro following italia back in 94. let me emphasize it was only a stint when i played with them guys. I played in a bunch of leagues that year in gaeta, and one of my fathers old coaches noticed my work. And asked me to give it a try. had already enrolled for college and all but was a stubborn chit and would not take no for an answer. I lasted about 3 months before my meniscus started acting up, getting water drained from my knees 5 times a week, la mia mamma calling every single freakin day lol.

How do i like our chances per la coppa mondiale?? I think we'll be ok ;) but shhh dont tell anyone though its seems the English, Germans and Braziliano are getting all the pub, its better that way:)

Ever been to gaeta? you or your parents. Have tons of family in salerno, roma, e napoli.
Il mio cognome e Ciaramaglia. Ask Papa if it sounds at all familiar. Gotta go, would enjoy taking to you some more.

Sorry for going in all directions with this post. In a bit of a rush but wanted to return your post.

Antonio,
Been very busy myself. One of the waiters that works at my restaurant had a brief stint as well with Salernitana. ( He is a couple of years younger than us, but his name is Vincenzo Macchione. I think he played goalie.)
I will be in touch with him in a couple of days. I will mention your name. Anyway I used to go to Italy every summer for a couple of months. I was never in Gaeta. Most of the time we spent on the beach in Santa Maria Di Castellabate (my dads town), near Agropoli. I have many friends from Napoli & Salerno. Keep in touch. I will mention your name to my family.:D

Antonio,
Vincenzo said that your name is very familiar and he thinks he may have played with you or against you. He started naming all kinds of teams he played on. He wanted to know how I came in contact with you. (He came over from Italy a couple of years back and he loves NBA hoops, He must go to a Sixers game every other week.) He started gambling on NBA last year and this year he started in NFL playoffs for football. Its a riot trying to explain parlays and reverses etc.. I might have to get him on board here at Madjacks.
:D

I hear that. I tried explaining to my cousin Alessandro 100 times over and he just makes me laugh my ass off with the expressions on his face. Get Vincenzo in here.
