I posted this at another site earlier today FWIW..
(Thurman line has fallen to -118 and Bettis to -120, holy crap.)
I like finding these + juice props that look like they could have a chance and have had some success with them.
Nine.com
Total solo + assisted tackles by Odell Thurman
327 Over 8 solo+assisted tackle +145
328 Under 8 solo+assisted tackle -175
Now, the bad news is that Thurman has only hit this number (8) 5 times, exceeding it 3 times.
The good news is that two of those three were against Pit, and he posted his two highest totals of the year in those games, 11 and 10.
Pit is 30-2 since 2003 when they rush for over 100 yards and their game plan today will include a HEAVY dose of running the rock, all the better to keep that Cincy O off the field. Lots of power-running=lots of action for MLB Thurman, the team's leading tackler.
My primary concern will come if Cincy jumps out quick and Pit is forced to abandon the run. I have a hard time seeing Cowher doing that.
I'm not particulalry confident in the side in this game, so 'm gonna take my chances with Thurman and the positive juice.
Nine is also offering the same prop for James Farrior. He is also his teams leading tackler. He has met this number 11 of 14 games played and exceeded it in 8 of those. But he's -180 and facing a more pass happy offense...
GL to everyone today. Share your thoughts if you got any.
Also taking Bettis - Ov33.5 rush yds +120 for the same reason, Pit has got to pound it early and often and punish the Cin d-line.
