Robert Walker, sports book boss here for MGM-Mirage, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, just to name a few, says he will open with PBF as a 2-1 favorite. Sounds about right. It will be @154lbs, so Floyd is getting up there. Personally, I think this will be two pretty boys who are looking for a HUGE fu**ing payday and will paintbrush the whole fight.
Both want to retire, unscathed, and RICH. Better yet, it will be a draw, and they can make more money. The bullshit never ends. This weekends fight is a real one. Morales wants to redeem himself, and Pac-man wants to put him out to pasture. Bada-bing, bada boom.

And not many people will be watching it with UFC on.

UFC and Pride has passed boxing in a big way these days.
I will try to squeeze in the Pac-Man into the UFC because you are right, that should be a great fight as will Hughes-GSP.

True that. UFC is popular big time. I guess I'm too old school. It's the wave of the future, but I'm a slow learner.

UFC/Pride - whatever the garbage is called has surpassed boxing in a big way? Get the fuk outta here with that. That crap if for talentless bums who cant cut it in boxing. Its garbage - pure and simple. Next to Nascar its the second favorite sport for trailer trash.

Are you telling me that the last Hughes fight pulled in more ppv buys than the last Morales fight? If it did its just another example of how to sh!t this sorry ass country is really going to.
If Carrie Underwood wins American Idol I guess nothing can shock me anymore.

As to Pretty Boy and Oscar they probably wont mix it up but even if they did I dont think either could knock each other out anyway. Im sure the over will be high but its almost guaranteed money.

At +250 or something I would consider that a value play for Oscar. He looked great in his last fight and PBF might be getting a little too crazy with this moving up thing.

Not the same fanbase. Don't forget that Pacquiao is a Phillipino and Morales is Mexican. There's not that big of a latino fanbase or Phillipino fanbase in the UFC. Morales-Pacquiao III will do juust fine although you are right that UFC PPV's outdraw most boxing PPV's. The exception of course being ODLH.

"the bunker"
seeing that dlh had so much trouble with shane mosley`s speed,it`s scary to think how difficult a semi-retired dlh, probably past his prime, is gonna have with floyd in his prime..........this ain`t mayorga...

that said, dlh is "the golden boy" and floyd is basically disliked by many inside boxing circles...anything close and dlh gets the benefit of the doubt....

just my 2 cents....

and almly....why you dissing mma,bro?....have you given it a chance?....

c`mon man,loosen up...

btw.....on the trailer park thing....in blacksburg va,what do a divorce and a tornado have in common?....

either way,somebody loses a mobile home....:SIB .

What you forget my rightwing brother is Oscar has the best sparring partner in the world in his corner and his name is Hopkins. I never seen in my lifetime a fighter who knows how to neutralize speed like BHop does. I also think he is in my top three of the greatest fighters i have ever saw in my lifetime. Ali, a short career of Salvidor Sanchez and Hopkins. the way BHop rolls that shoulder to make guys miss is amazing and at 40 incredible.

Funny you should mention that...Mayweather is the best in the business at rolling his shoulder and making guys miss

At 154 though, if DLH can land that big left hook to Floyds chin it could be all over. Floyd will be fighting way above his natural weight, and even the granite chinned Mayorga could not take DLH's left hook. The question is...can Oscar land it. Floyd can be hit with the left hook easier than the right hand, but DLH gives up a lot of handspeed here, Floyd could be way too fast here.

Bhop one of the 3 greatest ever? Oh jesus here I go again. OK, all I'll say is that is just a ridiculous statement. The guy just lost twice in a row to Jermaine Taylor for crying out loud. Hes not even in the top twenty greatest. The guy was overrated but most people came to their senses after the Taylor fights.
