i know its considered a sucker bet but i was curious 2 know if any of you ever hit on a -6 pleaser..

last week, south floridas pathetic performance cause me a pleaser that 10bucks would have net 3k..

every week i cant resist trying it untill i hit it.
so this week adding 6 points to the spread taking

10 to win 3k? All of my pleasers are 10 pts or 13 pts. 10 pts u must have 3 teams only. 13 pts you must have 4 teams.

I bet my first one ever in my life on Thurs night and had USC -11 as the 1st part with Tulane -5, ALA + some pts and another team. LOSER LOSER for me.

400/333.67 on that one equaled -400.00

Im done with that adventure in gambling. ODDS ARE HORRID. Though when you are betting the teams it does feel like no way in hell you wont cover... Till the BEAVER sucks in the TROJAN and you get pregnant and are paying for it for 18 yrs because of your 'JUICE'...... NO PLEASE AND NO TEASE.......

6 points odds for 6 team pleasers are 300/1, so the 10 for 3k payout is possible. Never heard of a 13 point pleaser but what are those odds?

TBB is getting a teaser and a pleaser mixed up.

Pleasers can be a very profitable form of wagering, but only used as an auxillary. Typically these teams involved already have been bet straight on your card, so you end up trying to turn a very good day into an incredible one.

On the other hand, if you use a pleaser on the teams that you dont end up playing straight, and go say 4 or 5 out of 6, you not only lose the pleaser but all the money that would have been made going say 4-2 on those bets.

It cuts both ways. In the end its a high risk, high reward type play that cannot be used week in and week out to build a bankroll. However, in small amounts compared to your flat action, can be used for high stakes entertainment.

There is no such thing as a 13 pt pleaser, AFAIK.

They're more likely to hit if you use them on big totals, moving a +3.5 - +4 dog to -2 to a -2.5 point favorite or a big dog like +40 into +34.

Purdue is a good choice, Fresno is tougher and Colorado doesn't make sense because their ML would be more profitable then using them in a pleaser.

I'm + money using them but I only hit 1-2 season.

Yea, its not a pleaser I guess. Here is what my book offers:

REG TSR BB-4 FB-6
PRO and NCAA Mixed Reg Teaser (BB 4 pt. & FB 6 pt.)

REG TSR BB-4? FB-6?
PRO and NCAA Mixed Reg Teaser (BB 4? pt. & FB 6? pt.)

REG TSR BB-5 FB-7
PRO and NCAA Mixed Reg Teaser (BB 5 pt. & FB 7 pt.)

SPCL TSR BB-7 FB-10
PRO and NCAA Special Mixed Teaser (BB 7 pt. & FB 10 pt.) TIES LOSE

On the 10 pt one here you HAVE TO BET 3 TEAMS and 400/333

SPCL TSR BB-9 FB-13
PRO and NCAA Special Mixed Teaser (BB 9 pt. & FB 13 pt.) TIES LOSE

I know on the 13 pt one you HAVE TO BET 4 games only and 400/333.

 I thought a pleaser was where you added points to the spread to make it harder win while a teaser gives points to the side you want.

For example (from this weekend) in a pleaser you have

Minny -3
Oakland +1.5
Redskins +5

that pays 17-1

for the same teams in a teaser, you would have

Minny +9
Oakland +14.5
Redskins +17

that would pay 9-5

You just taught me something I didnt know. I really just thought that a pleaser was just a nickname for the 10 pt and 13 pt teasers..... As you can see, Im not really into either. Trying one tomorrow on line movement plays...
