Highly recommend this book, entertaining look into LV sports betting. Cannot vouch for its relation to the way things actually are, but it was sure as hell one enjoyable read.

Yes a good book indeed. I went through that book in a night in a half found it real hard to put down. The way the book explained Vegas well those days are long gone.

Haven't read it yet, but I think I will now.

I can also recommend "Superbookie", sounds very similar to the book you just described.

Decent book, light read, doesn't pass too many judgments. I don't think it's anything greak. Like most non-fiction books, it doesn't do a great job characterizing the people. It pretty much just presents the facts.

And for a book on gambling, it doesn't really create any excitement. You can't feel the grind or the wins or losses from the way Millman writes.
