Have you suggested Las Vegas? :)

If that doesn't work, the only place in that part of the World that I have been to and can recommend is Cancun. I have also heard great things about San Juan, that is next on my "to do" list.

...........what difference does it make where you go? You're going to spend all your time in your hotel room in bed...............at least we all hope so!

Cancun is excellent, fairly inexpensive and lots of things to so. If you go there, make sure to confirm your reservations, or you may end up in another hotel like we did! I had a buddy just get back from his honeymoon is Aruba and they had a great time.

It's kinda old school and semi-expensive, but Hawaii is always a good place to go.

Best wishes for you and the future Mrs. NHL................

Cancun great weather, check out the Fiesta Americana Coral Beach

Hawaii-went there for my honeymoon, need to go for almost 2 weeks because you blow 2 days flying

Cayman Islands-kind of pricey, airfares more reasonable if you have ATA flying from where you live. If you're going after Thanksgiving (hurricane season officially over) the weather is perfect.

Good luck.

The Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.

Great pools, Great Restaurants, Beach with all sorts of water-sports (parasailing, jetskiing) right outside the resort and . . .

A Great Casino

The casino will comp the rooms, but they are owned by different organizations, so it's not as easy to get comps, but even at the posted rates, it's worth it.

. . . and it also has the (or one of the) biggest aquariums in the world, so there's tunnels and caves that you can go through to look at massive fish and can see sharks up close. It's really, really cool.

Isn't Atlantis really, really expensive?

A friend of a friend went there and that was his report. He did love it though!

st.augustine beach fl

beaches just as nice food is better and its safer and cheaper.
its out away from the rush very laid back and fun nightlife, great place to relax kick back and enjoy the beauty and drinks, the food is out of this world.

lots to do in the day and like i said very clean white beaches.

you can't go wrong and taking the horse and carrage ride around the bay at night with a bottle of champagne, canndle light dinner at the chart house or fiddlers green over looking the ocean, then a nice peaceful stroll down the safe and clean moonlit beach and your in for life.

the only difference between the islands and been to a few and there is the cost, trust me on this one:cool:

New Orleans is a fun, fun town but if you are going in the summer LOOK OUT. It gets so hot and humid that you can't drink enough or remove enough clothes to stay cool. The humidity is bad here in Houston, but New Orleans is the most humid place I have ever been.

Jazz Fest is my favorite trip of the year. The place makes Vegas look like Disneyland. . . . been the ruin of many a poor boy and God I know I'm one.

Beware of the Hurricane:D

Ocho Rios

Ocho Rios

We stayed at Ciboney Resort last time we visited Jamaica. Walking distance to the beach. They had a killer nightclub, outdoor giant chess, hoops and all sorts of H2o sports. Its an all inclusive as most are there. NO tipping allowed whatsoever.
Jamaicans treat you like king and queens.

Sandals is directly on the beach.

And the Ganja ? OMG
Unbelieveable!!!
Just don't try to sneak any back. They were pulling people off the plane before take-off. If you "sock-it"and fly into JFK, customs has those fricken sniffer dogs and they'll make a b-line to you.
"Runaway!" head straight to
the bathroom men or womens , who cares!

Anyways we fly free so we have been to many places and Jamaica was the most romantic by far. Cozemel (great diving)and Cancun, Maui and Lanai or anywhere in the States for that matter, Jamaica's my all time favorite hands down.

Ya, Jamaica Mon.
