this an odd spread given iowa's recent success and minn's drubbings. Iowa's rush defense is probably best in the nation something like 68 yds per game but their o is ranked in the 100's. Iowa has also beaten minn the last 3 times by considerable margins. Dont understand why minn would be favored. Smells like a trap. good luck I am on the fence as well.

Here's a writeup I did on the game...

Battle for Floyd of Rosendale has seen Hawkeyes win 8 of the last 11, and that 2.3ypr D will be paramount stopping Gopher attack averaging 5.5 ypr. Iowa is in the thick of things for the Big 10, and that is a true testament to the job Kirk Ferentz has done. No team in the country has been as injury riddled as the Hawkeyes, and to be where they are right now is simply amazing. Teams throwing all over Minny nowadays, and Drew Tate is the Big 10 leader in passing yards. Special teams are solid as usual for a Ferentz-led squad. We also have a 42-8 angle on the Hawkeyes here. Conflicting Last Home Game angles telling us to play both on and against Minny, so not much help there. Minny unraveled right now, but the Hawkeyes are as high as ever. Would only take the points here

Ended up playing just a small amount on the Hawkeyes (basically passed)
