If the Twins tab a pitcher from Class AAA Rochester to make Saturday's start, the leading candidate might be Jeff Manship, who is 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA in his past two starts for the Red Wings. The last one came Monday, so Saturday would be his regular day to pitch.

Manship, 25, went 1-1 with a 5.68 ERA in 11 games for the Twins last year, including five starts.

Thanks, IE.

hmmm...Manship was atrocious in 3 relief appearances (5.2 ip) during the spring. Meanwhile, Masterson can't get lefties out and the Twins will start several. Some runs Friday and a good ump for Saturday and I'll peruse the over. Manship's minor won't deter me, barring a shut-down from Slowey Friday.

Dang beer store opens way too late.:(
